Wish it was just about shooting...

So these games always talk about how you get to be a sniper and everything, but they always make you "buy guns" and "search for parts" and so on... Is it too hard to Just have a game where ALL I do is shoot? Dont have to worry about buying guns, or which guns I have, or getting an upgrade because "this level requires This much power".
